My name is Thomas Miller, and I am a student at Nova Scotia Community College AVC Middleton Campus studying IT Systems Management & Security.
I have done summer study abroads, completing a penetration testing & cybersecurity course at Algebra University-College in Zagreb, Croatia.
My goal is to become a Network Administrator and eventually a self-employed IT Systems Consultant. I have presevered and improved much since
the start of my academic journey at NSCC, and I aim to continue that trend moving through to the rest of my tenure as a student and into the workforce.
It is my goal to graduate with Honors from NSCC, and to become a competent and trusted member of the IT Systems workforce as soon as possible after Graduation.
My hobbies primarily consist of digitally-built Lego which I render in Blender and upload to Flickr and Blockheads, some video gaming,
and a whole lot of trawling the web looking at server-grade computer parts I'll never be able to afford. The former of these is a
primarily creative endeavour with a high time sink, with problem-solving and creative visualization skills required, whilst the latter
helps to keep me up-to-date on the latest developments in both industry- and consumer-grade computer hardware.
Oh, and I also really like music, in particular Bossa Nova, Prog Rock, and Gangsta Rap.
